Stewart, a leader who paved the way for young girls to reach their dreams. Ms. Stewart was the first African-American pharmacist in Toledo and owned her own business.

NOTE: “Champion Toledo” Initiative scholarship awards are restricted to any local institution of higher learning, including: Bowling Green State University, Davis College, Heidelberg University, Herzing College, Lourdes College, Owens Community College, Stautzenberger College, and The University of Toledo unless otherwise specified.

2010/2011 TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR
11th ROUND OF GRANTS

Scholarship Funds Available: $113,250
Teacher Grant Funds Available: $5,000
2009/2010 Total Funds Available for Awards: $118,250

2010/2011 SCHOLARSHIP (GRANT-TO-STUDENT) AND GRANT (GRANT-TO-STAFF) APPLICATIONS

Contact: Susan K.
