EIGHTH ROUND OF GRANTS TO BE AWARDED
AT UPCOMING SALUTE TO SCHOLARS:  A CELEBRATION OF LEARNING

Among the awards to be given are the new LMHA Larry Sykes “What’s Your Dream?” scholarships and Dr. Jason and Jamesena Carthen “Leaders of Tomorrow” scholarships.

Larry Sykes says he has "been blessed" with people who helped him as he explains his decision to create a scholarship for Toledo Public School students.  Larry Sykes, longtime board member with TPS and a Scott High  graduate, announces a scholarship to benefit Lucas Metropolitan Housing Association residents on Monday, December 17, 2007 in Toledo, Ohio.  His last board meeting is on Tuesday.
