Welcome to the TPS Foundation Website

The mission of the Toledo Public Schools Foundation is to promote quality public education through supplemental funding for programs, scholarships, and academic initiatives.

We are excited to have our own website and encourage you to visit often to learn more about the Foundation as we continue to add features to the site.

The TPS Foundation is all for the children; providing scholarships, grants, new student enrichment programs, and new leadership initiatives for the students of the Toledo Public Schools.

Since 1999, individuals, businesses, organizations, and foundations have shown a sincere commitment to the quality of education that Toledo Public Schools provides to the community. We are a 501(c)(3) public charity serving the 23,000+ children in the District.

Enabling the Dream

Many students are challenged by the lack of resources and support. The Foundation’s goal is enabling willing students to reach their fullest potential during and after their TPS experience.

We envision the Toledo Public Schools Foundation to be a vital contributor to the District that will enhance the learning process and enable dreams. We welcome your comments and input, and hope this document enlightens you about the process and plans for our growth and transformation.

Toledo Public Schools Foundation will host its Seventh Annual Scholarship/Awards Event entitled Salute to Scholars: A Celebration of Learning from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Gladieux Meadows.

This event recognizes outstanding educators and students in the District with grants and scholarships.

Proceeds benefit the Toledo Public Schools Foundation's Annual Fund to continue our mission.
